Nancy Hoover began as a sketch artist at age 12, drawing illustrations for an instructional book about ceramics. Later, she acquired a degree in graphic design and also became a watercolor artist .Ten years ago, Nancy found her passion for jewelry design. She has attended William Holland School of Lapidary arts in Georgia, and Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco. Her silver and goldsmithing skills along with her love of gemstones combines to create unique and eye-catching art jewelry pieces.

Nancy has told us that she aspires to have all of her jewelry to be a piece of wearable art. She also try’s to think out of the box and use her metal-smithing and design skills to create jewelry which shows balance and beauty her pieces are not always symmetrical or expected designs and that is what sets her pieces apart from someone everyone else, each piece is unique and one of a kind.. She uses precious and semi-precious gems to showcase their color and energy to give the wearer that special feel, it is her goal.
