Art is often inexplicable. The need to get what’s in my head (as perverse and odd as the subject matter might be) out has a mind of its own and it is often powered by music. The music creates a thought, a memory, a feeling, and the need arrives, and so too does the desperation.

Diana come from a family of artists, so I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. I started taking summer art classes at Academy of Art Institute in SF when I was a Freshman and continued through to Senior year. I chose to study graphic design and received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Visualization and Design in 2004.

My abilities artistically are extensive and erratic. I dabble in everything, get obsessed with every medium, and I try anything. Things have come full circle now.

This freehand ink art is exactly the style I started with 25 years ago and it feels like coming home.
