It is once again time for Weekend on Main, main street will be closed to car traffic, so come take a stroll and enjoy the downtown with fabulous food, and music. Stop by Studio Seven Arts and meet featured artists, some will be selling pieces and all will demonstrating their craft.

Painting has been Azar’s passion all of her life. She creates work that emotes using color, lines, shapes and textures. She also uses mixed media and collage techniques in her art. Azar’s goal with her paintings is to capture the essence of her subject, whether portrait, still life or landscape. Azar fell in love with clay in 2009. She realized that she can be more creative using clay and glaze as her tools. The therapeutic and soulful essence of ceramics art deeply influences her and clay became her obsession. She creates sculptures inspired by cultural tribes in the world that fascinate her. she also likes to create expressionistic, abstract and whimsical pieces.

Azar Vaghefi graduated from Tehran Academy of Art, got my PHD in Istanbul, Turkey. I had a number of exhibitions all over Iran Turkey and the USA. I live and exhibit in California.
