Concert in the Park: Frankie Bones Project Performing

  • Studio Seven Arts 400 Main Street Pleasanton, CA 94566 USA (map)

A singer songwriter for over 20 years Frankie Bones’ music is shaped in the roots of acoustic folk rock ~ inspired by James Taylor, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Jackson Browne, he takes what many would call “standards” and finds a way to make them his own. Recently he picked up the ukulele as a shtick, and as it turns out it’s a real crowd pleaser, covering the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Paul Simon, and The Beatles.

The Pleasanton Downtown Association’s (PDA) popular Concert in the Park series will take place every Friday night from June 10th through August 26th, featuring an eclectic mix of music from classic rock, blues and big band to today's hits.  The free concerts run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and takes place at Lions Wayside Park on the corner of First Street and Neal Street.

While guests are allowed to put out blankets and chairs (at their own risk) in Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, they are asked to wait until the morning of the concert to do so.  The use of rocks to hold down blankets is prohibited, as large rocks can damage lawn-mowing equipment.  Also, the use of plastic tarps, which can burn the grass, is not allowed.
