On an afternoon walk in Putnam Park in April 1997 I was drawn to a backlit stand of oaks on a hill. The clear light and lush spring growth added to the beauty of the scene. Other prints done from that moment are Oak Woodland,Oak Woodland, 1 plate edition and Putnam Park.
