Tyler Abshier

Tyler’s oil paintings are his depictions and interpretations of the California landscape, following in the footsteps of great landscape painters who worked throughout the state in the early 1800’s. As a native Californian, Tyler found his voice for inspiration with his impressionistic brushstrokes and sharp-edged clarity, that are infused with his personal elements. He brings a clear-eyed realism and sense of space that is imbued with his love of the journey, the joy of discovery, and the quiet, contemplative beauty that moves his spirit.
