Cancelled Make Your Own Glass Pendant With Glass Artist Joe Milelli

Help support our local charity, Children’s Healthy Smile Project CHSP, and meet glass artist Joe Milelli. Joe donates his skills and glass to create intricate and unique fused glass jewelry and artwork which provide funding for CHSP.

Joe’s primary subjects revolve around colorful and diverse themes associated with ocean reefs and exotic game fish. As a part time resident of Key West, he spends considerable time fishing and in the water which greatly influence his work. Originally, his early work medium was stained glass but after moving to the Bay Area discovered fused glass and has been “hooked” ever since. His work is part of the collections of  professional fishing guides, former owner of the New York Knicks, nationally known football coach, and many Key’s residents.

As an Engineer, Joe also has a keen interest in developing unique processes and techniques which are reflected in his fused glass jewelry and artwork. Each piece is one of kind, handmade, including use of dichroic glass, gold, mica and enamel paints. Many of the pieces include multiple firings and cold work before a piece is completed. He truly enjoys creating jewelry and artwork and has donated over 2,000 fused glass pieces to CHSP, American Cancer Society, Sandra Wing Foundation, Various Hurricane relief efforts, Head Start organizations over the years.

All net proceeds from the sale of fused glass artwork is donated to Children’s Health Smile Project by Studio Seven Arts.
