Ben Schwartz, a mechanical engineer and pen-turner born and raised in Pleasanton, California. Ben got into turning and pressing pens as a gift to extended family members who made him feel welcome when he moved to Colorado for college. Ben’s family shared the pens with individuals who also needed gifts and fine writing tools for their family,. This kindness of gift giving tuned in his hobby into a craft and that he can share with everyone.
