Studio Seven is pleased to announce the addition of Steve Thomas art. Thomas, a renowned painter of retro travel posters. Thomas’ art is now part of Studio Seven’s Arts’ gallery of artists in Pleasanton.

Before becoming a freelance illustrator/graphic artist, Steve Thomas worked for newspapers creating graphics and illustrations for 14 years. He took his unique illustrative talents to every section of the paper from Life and Entertainment to Sports.

Steve Thomas has a love for vintage posters, propaganda, and product art from the early 20th century and an interest in retro-futuristic art from the mid-20th century. Such an intense interest has Thomas to create some very unique poster art. In Thomas’ own words, he stated, “I mean, who doesn't want to travel the solar system or join the fight against the villains of 1980s arcade games?”

Steve Thomas also has experience creating marketing and advertising art for various companies. From label expo organizers to architecture firms. One of his strongest claims to fame was the opportunity to create artwork under such licenses as Star Wars, Disney, Fox, Star Trek, Hasbro, The Muppets and Marvel.
